Do you remember seeing those pictures of your grandmother, or maybe your great grandmother, all dressed up for a fancy party, wearing either short or long sleeved white gloves, and it was considered unladylike to remove them? How in the world did she fit a gloved finger into the handle of a tiny teacup and still manage to point her little finger???
Well, we don't have to worry about that these days – fingerless gloves are in fashion, and not just among the Goth. No, indeed, these romantic gloves are far from gloomy!
Inspired by the yarn, I have created these perfect short fingerless gloves, which sit just above the wrist; you can still show off your beautiful bracelet – and check the time on your watch. These gloves are created with two yarns. The frill is cashmere/merino wool, a wool so soft you barely feel it touching your skin. The yarn used for the main body of the glove is 100% Merino wool.
